New HR employees often start with a basic understanding of workplace safety and ethics but lack confidence in applying these principles to real situations. Traditional onboarding materials are typically policy-heavy and passive, making it difficult for learners to translate guidelines into practical action.
The Problem
To address this gap, a scenario-based eLearning module was developed, allowing new HR employees to practice making safe and ethical decisions through realistic workplace situations. This approach is flexible, scalable, and adaptable across different roles and work environments. It also enables learners to revisit content and apply policies in context, making onboarding more engaging and effective.
Additional support includes brief peer discussions and access to mentors who model safe and ethical decision-making, helping learners transfer knowledge to daily work.
